The CICG, inaugurated in 1973 and completely renovated since, enjoys a privileged location in the immediate vicinity of the Ariana Museum, the Place des Nations and the main international organisations and permanent missions established in Geneva. This centre, accustomed to major events, houses many modular conference rooms, offices, a multifunctional space, two bars, a restaurant and a post office. The professionalism of its teams guarantees a high level of service with rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology and interpreting booths. The CICG is managed under a sustainable development policy.

The General Assembly and the main sessions of the 50th AIC Congress will be held in Amphitheatre D, located on the 1st floor, which can accommodate up to 892 people. On the ground floor, the 600 m2 modular Jeanne Hersch space will house the Best Choice exhibition for IAC members. All these spaces benefit from natural light.

The CICG is located a few minutes by public transport from the international airport and the city centre. It is served from the city centre by tram 15 and buses 5, 8, 11, 20, 22 which stop at Place des Nations. Parking is also available 50 metres away.
