12.09.2022 – Inaugural evening in the prestigious setting of the Ariana Museum<\/h3>\n

The evening of Monday 12 September officially celebrates the opening of the 50th Jubilee Congress at its headquarters, the Ariana Museum. The official ceremony will be followed by the opening of the international exhibition Migration(s)<\/em> and the two exhibitions dedicated to the IAC archives: VOCATION. 70 years of history<\/em> and CONNECTIONS. 50 years of donations<\/em>. The 151 new members of the Academy will also be introduced during the evening. Musical interludes by Claudio Glave on guitar will take us on a journey around the world.<\/p>\n

13.09.2022 – Evening visits of museums in the heart of the Old Town<\/h3>\n

Three museums in the old town of Geneva will exceptionally stay open until 9pm at the end of the day to welcome the congress participants with a \u201cglass of Geneva friendship\u201d. You are invited to go to the Maison Tavel for guided tours of their exhibition, then to the Barbier-Mueller Museum and finally to the Baur Foundation for a free visit.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

14.09.2022 – UNESCO Evening<\/h3>\n

The status the IAC as an official NGO partner of UNESCO, obtained in 1958, encourages its members to break through their individual and collective limits to continue to make clay a fraternal link between people and a catalyst for peace.<\/p>\n

Today, the IAC – in view of the dramatic times we are witnessing and in accordance with the 2030 sustainable development objectives – must face up to new challenges: cultural diplomacy and interculturality, recognition of minorities, ecology and the necessary questioning of accepted practices. The evening of 14th September 2022, following the opening of the exhibition Around the world on a plate<\/em> in the Palais des Nations of the Geneva UN will be dedicated to this evolving history. It will bear witness to the dynamism of the IAC members and the will of the IAC to continue to celebrate the values of UNESCO and the United Nations.<\/p>\n

15.09.2022 – Excursion<\/h3>\n

A day of travel! We will first go to the lake of Neuch\u00e2tel where we will visit the first part of the Swiss national exhibition Melting Pot<\/em> at the Museum of Art and History of Neuch\u00e2tel (MahN). Then, on the way back, we will stop on the outskirts of Lausanne, at the Ferme des Tilleuls in Renens to discover the exhibition Materia<\/em> in honour of the renowned Swiss ceramists as well as the surprising Colossal d’art Brut<\/em> ORGANuGAMME II<\/em> by Danielle Jacqui (FR). We will end the afternoon with a visit to the second part of the Swiss national exhibition at the Ch\u00e2teau de Nyon, where we will also spend the evening. This day will allow us to discover not only cultural places but also splendid Swiss landscapes, between lakes and mountains.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

16.09.2022 – Closing dinner<\/h3>\n

The traditional closing dinner of the IAC Congress will be held on the campus of a partner of the Ariana Museum: the Florimont Institute, one of Geneva’s leading schools, rich in the diversity and plurality of its students cultures.<\/p>\n

During the aperitif members will be able to visit an exhibition of the students\u2019 ceramics as well as pieces from the Ariana Museum as part of the partnership, to be held in the Attic, the Institute\u2019s new art space. The seated dinner will be accompanied by background music and followed by an evening of dancing.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

19.09.2022 – Ceramic circuit: Visit to museums and exhibitions in Romandie<\/h3>\n

Event requiring separate registration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your first destination will be Lausanne and the mudac (museum of design and applied arts) in the PLATEFORME 10 arts district, which includes three museums dedicated to visual creation. After lunch, visit to Yverdon-les-Bains and the exhibition “Melting Pot or how to change lead into gold”, organized by Visarte Vaud, the Centre d’art contemporain Yverdon-les-Bains and the Museum of Yverdon and region. Your journey will end at the Ch\u00e2teau de Prangins for a visit centred on the ceramics on display and you will spend the evening at the Caf\u00e9 du Ch\u00e2teau with a convivial dinner.<\/p>\n

Le statut d\u2019ONG partenaire officielle de l\u2019UNESCO obtenu en 1958 porte les membres de l\u2019AIC \u00e0 se transcender individuellement et collectivement pour continuer \u00e0 faire de l\u2019argile, un lien de fraternit\u00e9 entre les hommes et un ferment de paix.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Aujourd\u2019hui, l\u2019AIC \u2013 au vu des heures dramatiques que nous traversons et en accord avec les objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable 2030 \u2013 doit faire face \u00e0 de nouveaux d\u00e9fis\u00a0: diplomatie culturelle et interculturalit\u00e9, reconnaissance des minorit\u00e9s, \u00e9cologie et n\u00e9cessaire remise en question des pratiques.\u00a0La soir\u00e9e du 14 septembre 2022, pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e par le vernissage de l\u2019exposition\u00a0 Un tour du monde par l\u2019assiette<\/em> au Palais des Nations de l\u2019ONU Gen\u00e8ve sera d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 cette histoire en mouvement.\u00a0Elle t\u00e9moignera du dynamisme des membres et de la volont\u00e9 de l\u2019AIC de continuer \u00e0 porter haut les valeurs de l\u2019UNESCO et\u00a0des Nations Unies.<\/p>\r\n

Nous nous rendrons tout d\u2019abord au bord du lac de Neuch\u00e2tel o\u00f9 nous visiterons le premier volet de l\u2019exposition nationale suisse Melting Po<\/em>t au Mus\u00e9e d\u2019art et d\u2019Histoire de Neuch\u00e2tel (MahN). Puis, sur le chemin du retour, nous nous arr\u00eaterons aux abords de Lausanne, \u00e0 la Ferme des Tilleuls de Renens pour d\u00e9couvrir l\u2019exposition en guise d\u2019hommage aux renomm\u00e9s c\u00e9ramistes suisses Materia ainsi que le surprenant Colossal d\u2019art Brut ORGANuGAMME II<\/em> de Danielle Jacqui (FR). Nous terminerons l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi en visitant le deuxi\u00e8me volet de l\u2019exposition nationale suisse au Ch\u00e2teau de Nyon, o\u00f9 nous y passerons la soir\u00e9e. Cette journ\u00e9e nous fera d\u00e9couvrir non seulement des lieux culturels mais \u00e9galement des paysages splendides suisses, entre lac et montagnes.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

16.09.2022 - D\u00eener de cl\u00f4ture<\/h3>\r\n

Le traditionnel d\u00eener de cl\u00f4ture du Congr\u00e8s AIC se tiendra sur le campus d\u2019un partenaire du Mus\u00e9e Ariana : l\u2019Institut Florimont, fleuron \u00e9ducatif genevois, riche de la diversit\u00e9 et de la pluralit\u00e9 des cultures de ses \u00e9l\u00e8ves.<\/p>\r\n

Lors de l\u2019ap\u00e9ritif, les membres pourront aller visiter dans l\u2019Attique, nouvel espace des arts de l\u2019Institut, l\u2019exposition des travaux c\u00e9ramiques des \u00e9l\u00e8ves ainsi que des pi\u00e8ces du Mus\u00e9e Ariana pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans le cadre du partenariat. 13.09.2022 - Visitas nocturnas a museos en el coraz\u00f3n del casco antiguo<\/h3>\r\n

Tres museos del casco antiguo de Ginebra permanecer\u00e1n excepcionalmente abiertos hasta las 21.00 horas del final del d\u00eda para recibir a los participantes del congreso con una \u201ccopa de la amistad ginebrina\u201d. Le invitamos a visitar la Maison Tavel para realizar visitas guiadas a su exposici\u00f3n, luego al Museo Barbier-Mueller y finalmente a la Fundaci\u00f3n Baur para una visita gratuita.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

El estatus de la AIC como ONG socia oficial de la UNESCO, obtenido en 1958, anima a sus miembros a romper sus l\u00edmites individuales y colectivos para seguir haciendo del barro un v\u00ednculo fraternal entre los pueblos y un catalizador de la paz.<\/p>\r\n

Hoy, la AIC \u2013ante los momentos dram\u00e1ticos que estamos viviendo y en concordancia con los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible 2030\u2013 debe afrontar nuevos desaf\u00edos: la diplomacia cultural y la interculturalidad, el reconocimiento de las minor\u00edas, la ecolog\u00eda y el necesario cuestionamiento de las pr\u00e1cticas aceptadas. La noche del 14 de septiembre de 2022, tras la inauguraci\u00f3n de la exposici\u00f3n La vuelta al mundo en un plato<\/em> en el Palacio de las Naciones de la ONU en Ginebra, estar\u00e1 dedicada a esta historia en evoluci\u00f3n. Dar\u00e1 testimonio del dinamismo de los miembros de la AIC y la voluntad de la AIC de continuar celebrando los valores de la UNESCO y las Naciones Unidas.<\/p>\r\n

\u00a1Un d\u00eda de viaje! La tradicional cena de clausura del Congreso AIC se llevar\u00e1 a cabo en el campus de un socio del Museo Ariana: el Instituto Florimont, una de las principales escuelas de Ginebra, rica en la diversidad y pluralidad de las culturas de sus estudiantes.<\/p>\r\n

Durante el aperitivo los socios podr\u00e1n visitar una exposici\u00f3n de cer\u00e1mica de los alumnos as\u00ed como piezas del Museo Ariana como parte de la asociaci\u00f3n, que se realizar\u00e1 en el \u00c1tico, el nuevo espacio de arte del Instituto. La cena sentada estar\u00e1 acompa\u00f1ada de m\u00fasica de fondo y seguida de una velada de baile.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

19.09.2022 - Circuito de cer\u00e1mica: Visita a museos y exposiciones en Romand\u00eda<\/h3>\r\nEste evento requiere registro por separado.<\/span>\r\n

Tu primer destino ser\u00e1 Lausana y el MUDAC (museo de dise\u00f1o y artes aplicadas) en el distrito de las artes PLATEFORME 10, que incluye tres museos dedicados a la creaci\u00f3n visual. Despu\u00e9s del almuerzo, visita a Yverdon-les-Bains y la exposici\u00f3n \u201cMelting Pot or how to change lead into gold\u201d, organizada por Visarte Vaud, el Centre d\u2019art contemporain Yverdon-les-Bains y el Museo de Yverdon y regi\u00f3n. Su viaje terminar\u00e1 en el Ch\u00e2teau de Prangins para una visita centrada en la cer\u00e1mica expuesta y pasar\u00e1 la noche en el Caf\u00e9 du Ch\u00e2teau con una agradable cena.<\/p>\r\n

12.09.2022 - Inaugural evening in the prestigious setting of the Ariana Museum<\/h3>\r\n

The evening of Monday 12 September officially celebrates the opening of the 50th Jubilee Congress at its headquarters, the Ariana Museum. The official ceremony will be followed by the opening of the international exhibition Migration(s)<\/em> and the two exhibitions dedicated to the IAC archives: VOCATION. 70 years of history<\/em> and CONNECTIONS. 50 years of donations<\/em>. The 151 new members of the Academy will also be introduced during the evening. Musical interludes by Claudio Glave on guitar will take us on a journey around the world.<\/p>\r\n

13.09.2022 - Evening visits of museums in the heart of the Old Town<\/h3>\r\n

Three museums in the old town of Geneva will exceptionally stay open until 9pm at the end of the day to welcome the congress participants with a \u201cglass of Geneva friendship\u201d. You are invited to go to the Maison Tavel for guided tours of their exhibition, then to the Barbier-Mueller Museum and finally to the Baur Foundation for a free visit.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

14.09.2022 - UNESCO Evening<\/h3>\r\n

The status the IAC as an official NGO partner of UNESCO, obtained in 1958, encourages its members to break through their individual and collective limits to continue to make clay a fraternal link between people and a catalyst for peace.<\/p>\r\n

Today, the IAC - in view of the dramatic times we are witnessing and in accordance with the 2030 sustainable development objectives - must face up to new challenges: cultural diplomacy and interculturality, recognition of minorities, ecology and the necessary questioning of accepted practices. The evening of 14th September 2022, following the opening of the exhibition Around the world on a plate<\/em> in the Palais des Nations of the Geneva UN will be dedicated to this evolving history. It will bear witness to the dynamism of the IAC members and the will of the IAC to continue to celebrate the values of UNESCO and the United Nations.<\/p>\r\n

15.09.2022 - Excursion<\/h3>\r\n

A day of travel! We will first go to the lake of Neuch\u00e2tel where we will visit the first part of the Swiss national exhibition Melting Pot<\/em> at the Museum of Art and History of Neuch\u00e2tel (MahN). Then, on the way back, we will stop on the outskirts of Lausanne, at the Ferme des Tilleuls in Renens to discover the exhibition Materia<\/em> in honour of the renowned Swiss ceramists as well as the surprising Colossal d'art Brut<\/em> ORGANuGAMME II<\/em> by Danielle Jacqui (FR). We will end the afternoon with a visit to the second part of the Swiss national exhibition at the Ch\u00e2teau de Nyon, where we will also spend the evening. This day will allow us to discover not only cultural places but also splendid Swiss landscapes, between lakes and mountains.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

16.09.2022 - Closing dinner<\/h3>\r\n

The traditional closing dinner of the IAC Congress will be held on the campus of a partner of the Ariana Museum: the Florimont Institute, one of Geneva's leading schools, rich in the diversity and plurality of its students cultures.<\/p>\r\n

During the aperitif members will be able to visit an exhibition of the students\u2019 ceramics as well as pieces from the Ariana Museum as part of the partnership, to be held in the Attic, the Institute\u2019s new art space. The seated dinner will be accompanied by background music and followed by an evening of dancing.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

19.09.2022 - Ceramic circuit: Visit to museums and exhibitions in Romandie<\/h3>\r\nEvent requiring separate registration.<\/span>\r\n

Your first destination will be Lausanne and the mudac (museum of design and applied arts) in the PLATEFORME 10 arts district, which includes three museums dedicated to visual creation. After lunch, visit to Yverdon-les-Bains and the exhibition \"Melting Pot or how to change lead into gold\", organized by Visarte Vaud, the Centre d'art contemporain Yverdon-les-Bains and the Museum of Yverdon and region. Your journey will end at the Ch\u00e2teau de Prangins for a visit centred on the ceramics on display and you will spend the evening at the Caf\u00e9 du Ch\u00e2teau with a convivial dinner.<\/p>\r\n
