A fourth exhibition organised by the IAC will take place at the prestigious Palais des Nations of the UN. The plate, as a cultural space, is a ceramic archetype that brings communities together around a table. Etymologically derived from &#8220;seat&#8221;, the plate is a nod to the &#8220;seats&#8221; of the Nations, when they are gathered at the UN General Assemblies. The plate has always been used for more than just sharing a meal. Its shape and format, which may remind us of a &#8220;table medal&#8221;, may also refer to a medium of communication and cultural identity, allowing a message to be passed on and a story to be told.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td>\n<p>Opening: 14.09.2022<\/p>\n<p>On the agenda: guided tours upon registration (details to come).<\/p>\n<p>NOTE FOR VISITS: Registration is required at the Palais des Nations reception desk. El plato, como espacio cultural, es un arquetipo cer\u00e1mico que re\u00fane a las comunidades en torno a una mesa. Etimol\u00f3gicamente derivado de \u201casiento\u201d, el plato es un gui\u00f1o a los \u201casientos\u201d de las Naciones, cuando se re\u00fanen en las Asambleas Generales de la ONU. El plato siempre se ha utilizado para algo m\u00e1s que compartir una comida. The plate, as a cultural space, is a ceramic archetype that brings communities together around a table. Etymologically derived from \"seat\", the plate is a nod to the \"seats\" of the Nations, when they are gathered at the UN General Assemblies. The plate has always been used for more than just sharing a meal.
